GPS walk for smartphones through nature reserve Het Bergherbos. The Bergherbos is a beautiful forest area surrounded by fields. Heuveltoppen offer a beautiful view of the rolling landscape.

Until less than 100 years ago, many people worked in and around the forest. The work varied widely. Families gathered their wood there or searched for blueberries. A lot of use was also strongly connected to the industry: for example, sand was won on a large scale, oak peeled for tanning, gross pines grown for mining.

This walk takes approximately 1.5 hours and takes you to the most beautiful places in the forest.

Start and end of the walk: Hettenheuvel parking lot on the N815 between Kilder and Zeddam.
