Anime Reborn: How to get and what to do with Special Crates

The World Collision update is now live in Anime Reborn and with this content drop, the game received a limited-time event zone, currency, and crates. Players can get the New Years Crates and Special Crates and unlock them to obtain Units, Trait Crystals, Potential Keys, Gems, Gold, and much more.

How to get Special Crates in Anime Reborn

To get Special Crates in Anime Reborn, click on the Event tab on the right edge of your screen while in the lobby. This will open the World Collision event featured reward box: New Years Crate. Select the blue crate icon (see image above for reference) to bring up the Special Crate. You can get the limited-time Special Crates by purchasing them for 250 New Year Coins each.

New Year Coins are event-themed currencies that can be acquired by playing the World Collision Adventure Mode. To do so, select the World Collision from the Areas menu on the left corner of your screen. Once inside the zone, enter a queue shown in the second picture and start a match. Take your best units and play the adventure mode for a chance to win 4,000 New Year Coins.

Another easy way to earn New Year Coins that you can spend on Special Crates is by redeeming available Codes. As of now, you can redeem the following two codes: !WorldCollision and !15kReacts. These will grant you 10,000 and 5,000 coins respectively, without any effort.

What to do with Special Crates in Anime Reborn

Special Crates are limited-time reward boxes that will be available in Anime Reborn for 14 days. You can purchase these for New Year Coins and open them to obtain any of the following possible items:

• Gems
• Gold
• Trait Crystal
• Frost Key
• Potential Key
• New Year Coin

You can also use the coins to purchase New Years Crates, also featured in the same World Collision Event, for a chance to win Units like Gromjaw, Yumcho, Arleng, and Nuzako. Therefore, don't just spend all your money on Special Crates and try opening some of the other crates as well to get your hands on some powerful companions.
