How to get Candy Cutlass in AUT

The fabled Candy Cutlass is back in AUT as part of the Christmas Celebration, and you can obtain it by finishing a quest offered by the Santa Claus NPC. So, here is a brief guide on finding Santa Claus and completing the quest to get Candy Cutlass in the game.

The first step in the process is to meet the Santa Claus NPC. You can find him at the center of the town behind a blue-colored wall, as shown in the above image.

Speak with him, and he will ask you to defeat 20 Hooligans in the Skate Park Area. From his location, walk towards the east side of the map or right side of the map to find an Isolated Skate Park. Here, you will find several Hooligan-type enemies (check the name tag). Beat 20 of them using any of your abilities. They are simple standard villains in the game who can only stun you if they hit you continuously. So, avoid getting stunned, and you will be fine. Once you have beaten the Hooligans, you can return to Santa Claus.

The next part of the quest is to get the Candy Cutlass Blade. For this, you have to defeat the Grumpus Boss, who spawns every 45 minutes on the server in the Ice Fortress. Speak with the Bawxstar NPC at the center of the town near the Christmas Tree, and he will take you to the Ice Fortress. Wait for the boss to spawn inside the castle area at the top.

Speaking about the attack strategy of the boss, he has two main types of attacks. One is the ground slam that can be evaded and dodged at the right moment; the other primary attack is the close-range punches, which can also be countered by moving at the right time. Keep both of the attacks in mind and move when he tries to use them. Remember, you should do at least 10% of the damage to Grumpus to receive a drop if you are playing as a squad/group. Also, there is only a 45% of getting the item. So, there is a very high chance of repeating the boss's favorite if you don't get the item in the first place.

If you do get the blade, then return it to the Santa Claus NPC with the item in the inventory, who will turn it into the limited edition Candy Cutlass with the new movesets.
